One of the many hardest things to draw in general is a skull. Yet it’s a good way to understand the face, proportions and where the eyes are in relation to the nose, brow ridge, mouth, and ears.
I learned that what we see on our face all have relationships with each other. A lot of it comes down to seeing shapes and perspectives.
Since I intend to have portraits as my subject matter when it comes to painting, understanding this will come into play more and more. It’s challenging, that’s for sure!
